This skill helps me to have a healthy diet and live longer, and have a lower risk of obesity, heart
disease and certain cancers. Eating a healthy diet can help control or delay health issues in our
body.

With scientific literacy comes better decision-making capabilities and easier navigation through
life’s everyday challenges. It is essential for the health of the scientific enterprise itself. Science
is a general way of understanding the natural world and knowledge is an increasingly important
resource in the society that is why understanding the science is very important especially in my
field of study.

Good communication can be able to motivate and help to know proper guidelines about food
and nutrition to us. When talking be aware of the words you use and seek feedback to ensure
your message has been understood.

community in health and wellness matters. It is an ability that certain health care professionals
use while completing their tasks.

• ABILITY TO EXPLAIN COMPLEX THINGS


To explain complex things, I’m using analogies to explain further the unfamiliar information in
simple terms. For people to truly understand the complex things, I need to relate it on my life
and make it my own so that it will be familiar to them.

It is my ability to handle difficult or unexpected situations and finds solutions to complex
challenges. It is a technique that I use to better understand the problems I’m facing and to
