Dear Parents

Greetings from DPS Electronic City!

Firstly, thank you for your cooperation and understanding in all that we do. As you are aware that our Annual
Sports Day -Spardha 2022 that was scheduled to happen in the month of November is postponed to December
2022, we request to kindly make a note of the revised dates slot wise. This is to inform you that we are
celebrating our Annual Sports Day, Spardha 2022 on Wednesday, 21st December 2022, Thursday, 22nd
December 2022 and Friday, 23rd December 2022 in our school premises.

Please note:
 Costumes/ Jersey will be given to your ward; slight alterations if any must be taken care of.
 Kindly send your ward in the costume provided, on the day of the event. Students, who are part of the
drill should come with light make up. The circular about costumes will be attached in the almanac for
details.
 Buses will ply only to pick up the children on the day of the event at the timings mentioned above.
 Please send adequate snacks and beverages with the child. Light refreshment would be provided by
the school.
 You are requested to collect your ward only after the National Anthem from their respective
classrooms/ assigned classrooms.
 There will not be any bus arrangements for dispersing students after the Sports Day.
 Please note that all the children will be a part of the Grand Finale and the school doors will be closed
for 15mins after the National Anthem to ensure that students settle down in their respective
classrooms/assigned classrooms allotted for smooth dispersal.
 Your patience to collect your wards would be greatly appreciated.
 An Entry coupon will be sent to all the participating students in the almanac. Kindly note that for every
participating student only two guests are permitted and the parents/guests are requested to carry the
entry coupon on the day of the event without fail.
 The sibling of the participants, studying in our school should come in school uniform with ID card
only. Students who do not come in school uniform will not be allowed entry to the event.
 Students are not permitted to carry mobile phones, laptops, I pads, PSPs, cameras, smart watches with
camera or any other electronic gadgets to school on the day of the event. Should any such gadget be
found with the students on the school campus, the same will be confiscated and no requests for
returning of the same will be entertained.
 Discipline is of utmost importance at DPS ECITY. Any inappropriate behaviour, non-adherence to the
school protocols by the students will be dealt with strictly.
 Parents are requested to car pool to avoid traffic congestion and cooperate with the security guards and
the school staff for the smooth functioning of the event.

Note: It will be a holiday for the students of I.II, III, IV, VII to XII and the non-participants of Kindergarten
and grades V, VI on 21st December 2022.

It will be a holiday for the students of Kindergarten, V and VI, VII TO XII and the non-participating
students of grades I TO IV on 22nd December 2022.

It will be a holiday for the students of Kindergarten to Grade VI and the non-participating students of
grades VII TO XII on 23rd December 2022.

School will reopen on 2nd January 2023 after the winter break.
