    is fear. This is usually due to the many misconceptions about surgery. Most people think that it is painful and
    dangerous, and while this is true, it is also a fact that surgery is a very helpful procedure that can save a person's
    life. As healthcare providers, it is necessary for us to implement and follow a safe surgical checklist to ensure
    safe surgery. It will not only help prevent medical errors, but it will also help erase the misconceptions that
    people have about the surgery.
