Types of Karmas
(1) Sanchita Karma: -
- Total balance or accumulation of all thoughts and actions (karmas) both
good and bad from all of our previous lives.
- It is stored in the subtle body we carry with us from birth to birth until at the
time of liberation it is dissolved

(2) Prarabdha Karma (Destiny) : -

- The Prarabdha Karma is that part of the Sanchita Karma that the native
brings with him at the time of birth. It is that part of the accumulated karma
that is allocated for this birth and has all the events destined to occur in this
lifetime ie ready to be experienced karmas.

- If the person has done good deeds in his previous lifetimes then good yogas
are formed in his horoscope and if bad deeds have been done then he has to
face the consequences of the same and learn the lessons for his next birth.

(3) Kriyamana Karma : -

- Most important since this is in our control and we can work on this for
betterment of life
- It is the freedom we have to improve ourselves. These are the Karmas which
we do in the current birth which helps the soul to progress in its journey.
