What do you thing are the benefits of dancing in the

following aspects? (physical, emotional, mental)

PHYSICAL
Dancing when done regularly, is a good way to develop

cardiovascular and muscular endurance which lowers

the risk of heart disease. It improves balance and

flexibility that help keep the muscles and joints

healthy. It also maintains and improves body

coordination, enhances muscular strength and

endurance, promotes good posture and lowers back

pain, and reduces excess body fat which in turn

reduces the risk of chronic diseases such as cancer,

diabetes and heart disease.


MENTAL/EMOTIONAL
Dance can offer an acceptable way to release

emotional and physical pressure. It reduces stress,

depression, and loneliness. It also makes us feel better

and more alert. It helps enhance decision making skills

and offers creative avenue to express oneself.
