LUANAR MSSION STATEMENT: “To advance knowledge and produce relevant
graduates with entrepreneurship skills for agricultural growth, food security, wealth
creation and sustainable natural resources management, through teaching, training,
research, outreach, consultancy and sound management”

products for the institution and teaching,
training, research and consultancy as he
services provided by the institution.

institution is operating and competing.
4 Technology YES Due to the institution’s mission to advance
knowledge, this indicates that the institution
is always up-to-date with its technology.
5 Growth, Survival and YES Through teaching and training, the
profitability institution is able to grow, survive and earn
profits.

Thus, there is no concern for employees.

Conclusion
After analysing the mission statement for LUANAR, it has been observed that the mission
statement is not good since customers, market and employees have not been indicated.
Therefore, the mission statement needs to be revised to carter for all the 9 components that
make for a good mission statement.
