In exercise the powers of the Chief inspector of Factories, conferred under section 2{ca) of the Factories Act, 1948 read with rule 2A the Punjab Factories Rules, 1952 hereby extended the compotency of following already recognized Competent Persons til the date on which the ccupational Safety, Health and Working Conditions Code, 2020 will come into force. The following Competent Persons have been authorized to carry out the tests, examination, inspection & certification for such buildings, dangerous machinery, lifts and holsts, lifting machines and lifting tackles, pressure plants, dangerous operations and equipment in the factories located In the state of Haryana, under Section 24(2), 28, 29, 31, 87 & 102 of the Factories Act, 1948 and Rules made there vnder een A Lialadanis Factories Act 1908 Ye 3._| Sh. Sariay Sharma House No. 640, Sector-8, Faridabad [Sey 78.28, 31 897 ‘The validity of your competency certificate Is extended till the date on which the Occupational Safety, Health and Working Conditions Code, 2020 will come Into force. This validity is extended subject to the following conditions:. 1. Tests, examination and inspection shall be carried out under direct supervision of the competent person and in accordance with the provisions of the Act and Rules made there under. 2. The competent person shall procure all necessary faci order. jes and maintain same in good working 3, Where defects are noticed in any plant and machinery, lifting machines and pressure plants etc examined and tested by you, a report thereof shall be submitted to the Chief Inspector of Factories, Haryana immediately after completion of test and examination, 4. List ofall those factories where tests/examinations of subject cited plants/ machines have been conducted should reach the office of the Chief Inspector of Factories. Haryana by 7 of every month only in soft copy clearly indicating date of examination. The competent person shall attach his photograph along with Occupier/ Manager/ Safety Officer/ Concerned Officer by standing in front of the equipments / plants/ machines examined in the factory under the subject cited sections with the examination/ testing report. The photograph shall also contain the name of factory and the date of examination / test. 5. The competent person shall maintain logbook of day to day work done by him. 6. The competent person shall make an entry of his visit to the factory specially mentioning in time and out time, 7. The certificate of competency issued in your favour as an employee of the organization shell stand cancelled if your leave the organization mentioned in the application. 8. ‘The Chief inspector of factories reserves the right to revoke or amend this order at any time during the validity in the interest of safety.
