Assessment 2:
1. Give some example of problem that follows process of decision making and how you can

handle in order to accomplish?

An earthquake broke a fence around a house. I was tasked with reconstructing the said fence.
My goal is to build a durable and economical fence that can withstand an earthquake. I have two
alternatives for what material I will use in building the fence; concrete blocks or red bricks. When
comparing the two materials, concrete blocks are more durable than red bricks, making them withstand
an earthquake. In terms of their price, concrete blocks are much cheaper than bricks. Moreover,
concrete blocks are lighter compared to red bricks, which offers them more workability, flexibility, and
durability. With this, I decided to choose concrete block as the material for the reconstruction of the
fence. Given the fact that it is cheaper and can withstand an earthquake, it is the best choice for the
situation. After deciding, I started calculating and estimating all the costs and expenses of the materials.
I gather all of my workers and begin the reconstruction of the fence.

2. What do you think the best TRAITS of PERSON when dealing with business?

- I think the best traits of a person when dealing with business are their ability to collaborate and be
confident. When you are running a business, you need to connect with your customers in order for them
to purchase your products or services. Business owners who are able to work well with their employees
are the ones who build strong relationships with customers. Also, confidence is a must when you are
running your own business. As they say, what you believe is what you attract. If you believe in the
capabilities of your business, then you can attract many customers. Being a collaborative person who is
confident in the potential of his business is the key to a successful and long-lasting business.
