Lesson 2
Assessment
1. Choose only one of etiquettes and discuss its importance while playing badminton.

“DO NOT TALK” is one of the etiquettes in playing badminton. It is unethical to make
noise or unnecessary conversation while playing badminton for it can distract your
opponent in the game. Being loud and deliberating distractions during the game is very
rude and boorish.

2. In which etiquette of the game that caught your interest in playing badminton, and
why?

I caught interest on SPORTMANSHIP since for me it is the most important aspect not
only in playing badminton, but also in all sports. Accepting the result of the game means
that you respect everyone involve in the game, and by shaking hands with the opponent
after the match is a sign that you are a good and fair in playing badminton.
