Introduction Estimated Time: 30 minutes

Students will come to the carpet and sit crisscross applesauce. The estimated time in
teaching kindergarten students is a little longer with having to also teach the students to wait

from.

Closure Estimated Time: 10 minutes

After I finish my lesson, I will direct my students back to their seats where they will have to
raise their hand and wait to be called on to tell me what he or she has learned from the
lesson. With young children, it is important to reteach the lesson so that the students can
grasp onto the information being taught. I will send my students home with a homework
worksheet with all the different parts of speech that the parents can help their child learn at
the comfort of their home.
