Executive Summary

The goal of the term project is to find out how well British American Tobacco Bangladesh
works as a whole. For looked at how they've done over the last seven years. This project is
broken up into five parts. First, we looked at the company's different accounts by looking at
common-size statements. After that, in the second part, we looked at a lot of different ratios
for both BATBC and other companies in the same field. And then, by comparing BATBC's
performance to the industry average, we give our thoughts on how well they did. In the third
part, we looked at the returns for both the BATBC and DSEX indexes over the last 60
months. We also looked at the company's required rate of return and the risk (beta) that
comes with the return. Fourth, we used three different ways to figure out the value of their
market shares right now. We then compared that value to the market value. In the end, we
looked at the company's capital structure or how it gets its money, as well as how much it
costs to borrow money from other people. Finally, after figuring out all the values, we gave
our thoughts on such figures.
