My name is Khoi Nguyen.

I’m 11 years old and I’m a student at Hai Tan Primary school.

Today, I would like to share with you about my dream (job).

Have you ever questioned yourself “What do you want to be when you grow up?”

For me, I want to become a pilot when I grow up. There are several reasons why I dream of being a pilot.

Firstly, I have great desire to fly an airplane. Since I was a little boy, I like playing with toy airplanes. My
dad took me to the airport, I saw the real amazing plane. Since then, I have dreamed of getting inside a
real plane and fly it high up above the clouds. It’s exciting and adventurous. Besides, a pilot can see the
stunning views from the sky that you can never see when you are on the ground.

Secondly, as a pilot, I have chance to travel around the world and explore new destinations/ places.
Especially, I love visiting historical sites so that I can learn more about the history, people and cultures. I
wish I could visit the Pyramids of Giza someday.

A pilot needs to be brave, strong and smart. I am studying and working very hard to fulfill my dream of
flying above the clouds. If my dream came true, I would take my mom, dad and sister to travel with me. I
believe that if I keep studying hard and follow my dream, I will become a good (qualified) pilot in the
future.
