HUMSS 12-3

The Flight

When I was a child, my dream was already to be a flight attendant. It has always
been a dream of mine since I was a child. I want to pursue it now to better myself and
finally make my lifetime dream come true I would love to be a Flight Attendant because I’d
love a career where my smile and hospitality matters most.

I was 8 years old playing in the living room when my Grandpa suddenly called me
from his room and told me that we are going to travel visit Bohol and I my reaction from
that is nothing. I don’t why I didn’t react from that statement, but when the time when we
are about to start the trip my Grandma told me that we’re going to ride an airplane. That’s
when my reaction started to kick off. I was very happy and excited because that’s is my first
time riding an airplane and my dream was to be a flight attendant someday, that can
explain why I’m so very happy that day.

We went to our car and travel to the airport, my eyes is uncontrollable, it goes
anywhere because of curiosity. Suddenly I saw this big airplane landing from the sky, I was
shock because that’s the first time I saw an airplane near me and I didn’t know that it was
that big. We wait until our flight comes, and I didn’t notice that I fell asleep. When my
Grandpa wake me up, telling me that we’re about to ride an airplane, my smile won’t fade
away from my face. I was so excited and here we are riding an airplane.

When I was in the airplane my eyes were glued in the windows, but when the
airplane start to fly off the land, I was scared because everything around me is shaking. I
closed my eyes and hug my Grandpa because I was really scared. After a while my Grandpa
is telling me to open my eyes and look at the window, and so I did open my eyes slowing
and turning my head to the windows and I was amazed how beautiful the view is from the
sky. I remember that time that I was hoping to see our house from the airplane and I keep
asking some things to my Grandpa and suddenly I felt asleep again and I didn’t notice.

When I woke up, the sky was orange and it’s incredible in the eyes. Suddenly I heard
a beautiful woman voice coming out from the speaker of the airplane. I stood up to my seat
and saw the flight attendant. I was frozen that time, smiling and staring at the flight
attendant and she stared at me. She slowly comes towards me and tells me to sit down
because the plane is about to land, she was smiling at me and I smiled back at her. I imagine
that I’m going to be like her one day. My Grandpa made me sit and the flight attendant walk
away from us.
 When the plane’s about to land, I experienced same scary moment because of the
shaking of the plane. After a while we safely land and got out of the plane. We go to the
nearest fast food to eat then go to a hotel to sleep. This day is unforgettable for me because
I felt different kind excitement, happiness and fear at the same time. Seeing the flight
attendant was also remarkable for me because that was the first time I see a future side of
me.
