Introduction:
Squash so sweet is a food originated from kalabasa (squash) that caters
people who are looking for a new flavors and with a twist in Turon. In doing this
the business infused Filipino cuisine in their product. It sets them apart from the
traditional banana, sugar, and lumpia wrapper that people are used to. Squash so
sweet is a new innovated that produce a unique variety of Turon called
“kalabasang turon”. We choose this product for its uniqueness and nutritive value
that the consumer will attain good nutrition promoting good health especially those
with vision problems and may help the students in their eating habits caused by
their stress. This brings us the idea of creating a product that will surely win the
tastes of not just Filipinos, but also the Filipinos at heart for kids who is hard to
feed vegetable, and for adult who will be surprise with the new taste of squash. The
idea of Kalabasang Turon was formulated through hard time thinking on what
product to innovate which will be beneficial to the consumers. A product that it is
not expensive and that anyone could afford it.
Executive summary:
Squash so sweet is a sole proprietorship that sell turon, not your
ordinary turon with banana and jack fruit, but a turon made from smash
squash blend with condense milk. We came up to this idea because we
Filipino like fry foods and sweet delicacies. It offers nutritious and
affordable snack that everybody will surely love.
Kalabasang turon is ideal for all, especially to those kids that is
picky eaters and hard to feed vegetable and for adults that finds twist for
their nutritious food. Given that squash is very abundant in the market
and everywhere we put twist on it instead of the usual pakbet and
ginataang kalabasa recipe. Kalabasa turon is a snack where it can be
enjoy not only while it’s hot but also when warm or chill.

Squash so sweet will be a favorite ready to eat turon in a cart
located in every school, park near the market and a tenant in mall. The
business aims to produce quality fresh snacks products every day. The
product will be known in the whole city the business will generate 10
percent earnings every month and by 2 years the business will expand
and will add cart in nearby cities and municipalities. Good customer
service and satisfaction will be the key on this goal, sales clerk will be
courteous, polite and cheerfully serve the customers. The product will
maintain its quality.

The business is a sole proprietorship. The business was
owned by Ms. Maria Juverlyn Allam , 18 years old from
Calamagui 2nd Ilagan, city Isabela.
Products and Services:
Squash so sweet is a turon made from a steamed squash mash
mixed in condense milk, small amount of cornstarch to stick, cheese in
the middle and vanilla flavor, wrapped in lumpia wrapper, deep fry in
boiling cooking oil for crisp. The turon will be glazed with caramelizes
sugar and sprinkled with sesame seed for added aroma available in 3pcs,
6pcs in a cup. They can also order 50pcs in a food container for party
needs.
Squash so sweet turon will have its great advantage because of its
nutritional benefits and flavorful taste that even picky eater kid will
surely love.
Marketing Plan
Squash so sweet a special turon ready to eat snack is more
delicious and healthier than regular turon. It is unique because it
contains a variety of healthy nutrients that are appropriate for
children, adolescence and adults. For example, vitamin A is
crucial for maintaining immune system and eye health as well as
normal cell growth. The powerful antioxidant properties of
vitamins A and C help your body fight free radicals, which can
harm your body cells.
Another antioxidant include in squash is vitamin E aids in
preventing damage in skin and might lower the risk of
developing age-related diseases like Alzheimer.
Operational Plan
Squash so sweet preparation;
• Steam 2kilos of squash for 20 miminute.
• Set aside let it cool before mamashin.
• Add 2 tablespoon of cornstarch and half teaspoon of salt,stir until
sticky
• Add 300 ml of condense milk and stir.
• Prepare the wrapper separate it one by onon
• Cut cheese into ppieces
• Put 2 teaspoon of mixture of smash kalabasa with condense in a
wrapper and sliced cheese in the middle, wrap it ccarefully.
• After wrapping all the mixture set aside or put it on ffreezer.
• In boiling oil carefully put the turon for cooking
