ABSTRACT
This study aims to shed the light on the importance of training transfer by examining
the sequential mediation model effect of this process. According to the latest figures, the
$200 billion spent every year on training activities only results in a 10% transfer of training
and a boost in productivity. This research based on expectation confirmation theory. By
adopting the convenience sampling approach, data were collected through an online
questionnaire distributed to public Jordanian organizations, 354 completed forms were
investigated and analyzed via statistical software Smart PLS. Results declare (have shown)
that there is no relationship between expectation (EXP) and training satisfaction (TS)
whereas it has a negative relationship with disconfirmation of beliefs (DOB) that has a
positive effect on TS. Perceived performance (PP) has an unexpected negative effect on TS
and a positive relationship with DOB. Alongside, Trainer efficacy (TE) has a positive impact
on TS that has a positive impact on motivation to transfer (MTT). MTT has a positive
relationship with a transfer of training (TOT) and additionally mediates the relationship
between TS and TOT. Moreover, this study demonstrates the sequential mediation model
effect of TOT. Limitations and implications were demonstrated for helping future works.
