Licenses such as:

 Registro de Comerciante del Departamento de Hacienda, solicitándolo en el Registro Electrónico de
Comerciantes (por Internet);

 Patente municipal. Y debe recordar que, al ser la patente distinta en cada municipio, debe obtener una nueva
patente en cada pueblo al que se quiera mover. Es importante porque el Impuesto de Valor y Uso (IVU) debe
pagarse donde se hizo la venta.

 Certificación Sanitaria del Departamento de Salud, renovable anualmente. Es distinta a la “licencia sanitaria”
típica de los restaurantes, pues estos tienen baño. Esta certificación requiere a su vez una Certificación
Profesional de Seguridad Alimentaria (CPSA), que se renueva cada tres. La CPSA se acompaña de un
Certificado de Salud (un año) junto a un cultivo de garganta. También, la certificación en Inocuidad de los
Alimentos se le requiere a los negocios que sirvan o vendan alimentos. Esta certificación, que se le requiere a
alguna persona por turno en el negocio, es para prevenir las enfermedades transmisibles por alimentos;

 Certificación de los Bomberos;

 Permiso de uso para negocio ambulante (Oficina de Gerencia de Permisos –OgPE- u oficina del municipio si es
autónomo);

 Una vez establecido el food truck en algún lugar, el municipio podría requerir un permiso de eventos especiales
si decide moverlo a otro sector del municipio para alguna actividad especial;

 Otros permisos posibles son el de construcción, si tiene, por ejemplo, un deck junto al food truck, y un permiso
de uso convencional si el vehículo quedará anclado permanentemente en el lugar.
