INTELLECTUAL REVOLUTION
Discuss how the ideas postulated by Copernicus, Darwin, and Freud
contributed to the spark of the scientific revolution. Give the field of
science that they revolutionized and the old ideas they corrected
though their postulates .

COPERNICUS
The transition from a geocentric
understanding of the universe, centered
around the Earth, to a heliocentric
understanding, centered around the Sun was
discovered and developed in the Copernican
Revolution. Copernicus made significant
contributions to physics and astronomy.
Even though Copernicus is one of the
scientists from the Renaissance whose
names are most well-known today, his
contribution to the Scientific Revolution is
misunderstood. Though his theory was
influential, it was not the heliocentric
universe idea that he is most famous for
having first. The work of Copernicus was
ultimately the most important. because it
altered how physics and astronomy were
used to understand the universe. Despite
lacking in scientific rigor, Copernicus'
heliocentric model offered a unified
response to the complicated Ptolemaic
model, which was studied by scientists in the
16th through 18th centuries and resulted in
significant advancements in astronomy and
physics.
DARWIN
Charles Darwin made significant
contributions to biology science. One of the
most significant intellectual and cultural
revolutions of the modern era was brought
about by Charles Darwin's theory of
evolution by natural selection. It
significantly changed how modern society,
including science, religion, and philosophy,
are thought of. The theory of biological
evolution by natural selection was put forth
by Charles Darwin. According to Darwin,
evolution is the process by which species
change over time, give rise to new species,
and descend from a single ancestor. People
were able to abandon the prevailing belief in
special creation thanks to his
groundbreaking theory of evolution by
natural selection. Additionally, it allowed
them to base their creations entirely on
scientific principles.

FEUD
The neurologist Sigmund Freud is best
known as the creator of psychoanalysis.
Freud created a set of psychotherapeutic
methods based on talk therapy and utilizing
techniques like transmission, free
association, and dream analysis. One
interpretation of Freud's revolution is the
discovery of a method for locating in the
mind objective entities that can be studied
similarly to physical objects.
The claim that the presence of
subconsciously representations is
contradictory is one of Freud's initial and
most persistent criticisms. In more recent
times, functionalism has made structurally
similar claims to those of Freud, namely that
cognition is a sub-personal computation of
internal representations. Some philosophers
continue to reject such claims on the
grounds that representation is, by its very
nature, conscious.
