Poetry, the highest form of literature, influences us because it depicts various aspects of
human nature. In fact, poetry is one of the oldest arts, as well as a product of human imagination.
It expresses various human emotions such as friendship, love, death, and others.

Poetry is a form of communication. Writing it allows us to express our feelings and

thoughts on a subject, whereas reading it allows us to connect with and find meaning in our
experiences. Poetry has been shown to improve children's social and emotional learning. It might
give them a new perspective on something.
