REFLECTION

I believe that a well-defined physical layout and a tidy appearance in the classroom will
encourage a productive learning environment. Any form of special education environment has to
have a well-considered physical layout. In my own experiences, having an organized classroom
students can pick up the value of obeying physical restrictions. There are partitions separating
each student's personal workspace from teacher-only and student-only spaces. Students get the
ability to foresee the exact activities that will take place in various classroom locations. Students
will approach the location with the mentality that correlates with the expected activity, which
helps them partake more completely in the tasks. The kind of actions that are appropriate and
anticipated in each certain area of the classroom as well as those that are not in other classroom
areas will also be taught to the learners. A comfortable room layout offers regularity, which
many kids find comforting. Students are often less anxious when they can better grasp their
surroundings and predict what will happen next. As what I have observed also with regular
classrooms just like my classroom, the classroom arrangement has a huge help on so that the
course materials are available right away. When particular activities take place in particular
locations of the classroom, the materials required for those activities can be kept there so they
can be simply and quickly collected. This improves efficiency by reducing delays and
inappropriate conduct.
