A life without freedom is like a body without a soul.

Our voice matters. We have the right to say what we think, share information’s, and
demand a better world. Good day everyone, I’m Gohan Dave Agmata and I got an
opportunity to speak on the topic “Freedom of Expression and Censorship.”
In this video, I will define what freedom of expression and censorship really is, and last,
I am going to share my thoughts and the importance about Freedom of Expression and
censorship of every individual in the society.
FREEDOM OF EXPRESSION AND CENSORSHIP
What is freedom of expression? It is the ability of an individual to express their thoughts,
beliefs, emotions, and ideas about different issues and it is a right to express a person’s
opinion or thoughts freely by using any mode of communication.
Censorship occurs where a person or group of people try to prevent opinions and
information’s from being manipulated. It is conducted by the government, private
institutions, and other controlling bodies.
Exercising these rights without fear or unlawful interference is central to living in an
open and fair society. But sometimes we overuse our rights, we don’t care about other
feelings, we continue to speak even if we are hurting them. Hence these scenarios
should be monitored. Governments have a duty to prohibit hateful, and inciteful speech.
Because many abuse their authority to silence peaceful. Thus, our rights to Freedom of
expression have its limits.
Freedom of expression is a fundamental human right. It is in need to share and speak
freely and to express our opinion for us to bring changes in the society, to spread
awareness about our individual rights, but if we speak freely, we should always consider
not to hurt others. Always remember, NO DISCRIMINATION SHALL BE MADE.
For everybody, it is true that we have a plenty of rights, and we talk about them. but
sadly, sometimes we don’t achieve it. Therefore, it is essential for us to speak because
if we will not speak then how can we achieve our rights? Freedom of expression is
important as it plays a vital role in the healthy development process of a society. But it is
also important to hear other people’s view as well as offering them our opinion because
FREEDOM OF EXPERSSION IS NOT ONLY THE ABILITY TO SPEAK BUT IT IS
ALSO THE ABILITY TO LISTEN TO OTHERS TOO.
