Madam/ Dear Sir,

REVISION IN PAY & ALLOWANCES OF OFFICERS (2017-22)

Please refer to circular no. IDBI Bank/2018-19/279/HR/HR-37 dated


September 28, 2018 and circular no. IDBI Bank/2019-20/100/HR/HR-18 dated May
21, 2019 conveying revision in pay & allowances of officers upto Grade C and
officers in Grade D & above respectively for the settlement period November 1, 2012
to October 31, 2017. Pay Revision is now due for the settlement period November 1,
2017 to October 31, 2022. Post conclusion of salary revision for the settlement period
2012-17, the mandate to negotiate next revision (2017-22) for officers upto Grade C
on behalf of Bank was given to the Indian Banks’ Association. The Joint Note
covering all Public Sector Banks and some Private Sector Banks including IDBI Bank
was signed between the representative Unions/Associations and the Indian Banks’
Association on November 11, 2020. The Indian Banks’ Association agreed for wage
revision increase at 15% of the payslip components of Establishment Expenses of
Public Sector Banks, which are parties to the settlement, for the financial year ending
March 2017.

2. In the pay revision for settlement period from November 1, 2012 to October
31, 2017, pay scales and allowances payable to officers of the Bank were aligned to
those payable to officers in Scale I to VII of Public Sector Banks, except for certain
allowances like Additional Personal Allowance (APA), House Rent Allowance (not
aligned only for Grade D & above in Class A cities) and Adjustable Allowance (for

Grade D & above). APA also, inter-alia, includes other components which are
reckoned for Superannuation benefits and hence was not discontinued. However, APA
was frozen as at the end of settlement period 2012-17 with no further increase. Certain
other allowances viz. Special Allowance for Private Secretaries, Non-Adjustable
Allowance for acquiring PhD qualification and Special Non-Adjustable Allowance for
Grade A officers, which are applicable for a specific purpose/category, were
continued without any change in quantum, as per existing terms and guidelines.

3. The proposal regarding revision of pay & allowances for officers of the Bank
for the period November 1, 2017 to October 31, 2022 was placed before the Board at
its meeting dated March 26, 2021. The key features of revised pay & allowances for
officers, as approved by the Board, are given below:
a. Payslip components already aligned with IBA payslip components in 2012-
17 settlement and also certain facilities/benefits which are presently not
aligned with earlier IBA settlements, have been revised/adopted as per Joint
Note dated November 11, 2020.
b. Fixed Personal Pay and HRA for Grade D & above in Class A cities, have
been aligned as per IBA Joint Note in the current settlement period.
c. Additional Personal Allowance aggregated with Special Allowance on
Promotion, Special Pay & Personal Allowance were frozen in the
last/previous settlement(s) and have been continued at existing quantum,
since they are eligible for contribution to superannuation benefits.
d. Adjustable Allowance, which is the residual Grade Allowance for each
individual officer in Grade D & above was frozen as on October 31, 2017
and was adjusted against increase in Special Allowance and applicable DA
thereon, from November 1, 2017. The residual Adjustable Allowance as on
March 2021, subsequent to the off-setting against the increase in Special
Allowance and applicable DA, shall be discontinued and stands withdrawn
effective from April 1, 2021.

e. Special Non-adjustable Allowance (Rs.475/- per month payable to officers


in Grade A who are not promoted for 8 years) shall stand withdrawn with
effect from April 1, 2021.
f. Non-adjustable Allowance for acquiring PhD qualification and Special
Allowance to Private Secretaries shall be continued for the existing
recipients as per extant guidelines without any change in the prevailing
rates. The above allowances are not payable for those officers who have not
drawn the same before the date of settlement.

4. Additional Pension
4.1 In respect of employees covered under Bank’s Pension Scheme, who were
drawing/eligible for Additional Personal Allowance (APA) in the salary structure and
retired after November 1, 2012, pension shall also include Core APA. The portion of
eligible pension from Core APA shall count for applicable Dearness Relief upto
October 31, 2017. With effect from November 1, 2017, owing to discontinuation of
DA on Core APA (upon freezing), the portion of eligible pension from Core APA
shall be merged with DA @ 47.80% (frozen rate) and paid as Additional Pension.
4.2 In respect of pensioners/pension optees retired/retiring on or after November 1,
2017, who have drawn/are drawing/eligible for Additional Personal Allowance (APA)
in the salary structure, shall draw 50% of 10-months’ average of frozen APA (which
includes frozen Core APA and DA @ 47.80%), as Additional Pension. Dearness relief
shall not be payable on the Additional Pension.
4.3 Pension commutation is applicable only on the Core APA. Dearness relief shall
not be payable on the Additional Pension. Further, recovery if any, on account of
excess pension already paid to such retired employees due to higher Dearness relief
paid over October 2017 shall not be done. The above amendments approved by the
Board shall form part of the IDBI Pension Rules.

5. Payment of Arrears:
5.1 Officers in the service of the Bank as on November 1, 2017 shall be paid
arrears on account of revision in pay & allowances for the period from November 1,

2017 to the date of implementation of revised salary. The adhoc arrears already paid
shall be adjusted against the final arrears payable to officers.
5.2 In case of officers who ceased to be in the services of the Bank on account of
resignation or voluntary retirement on or after November 1, 2017, the pay &
allowances as per the revised scale shall be re-calculated for the shortfall in notice
period and differential amount of notice pay shall be recovered from their salary
arrears.
5.3 Officers who were placed under suspension prior to November 1, 2017 shall
not be given the benefit of revision in Subsistence Allowance. However, in case of
officers placed under suspension, on or after November 1, 2017, their provisional
fitment in the revised scale shall be done as on November 1, 2017. Consequently, the
subsistence allowance payable to them shall be re-calculated on the basis thereof and
resultant arrears of salary and subsistence allowance, if any, shall be paid to such
officers.

6. The revised scales of pay and allowances for Officers are given at Annexure.

1. Scales of Pay
The scales of pay for officers in Grade A to Executive Director are as under:

Fitment:
Fitment shall be stage-to-stage, i.e. on corresponding stages from 1st stage
onwards and the increments shall fall on the anniversary date as usual.

2. Stagnation Increments
2.1 Officers in Grade A who have moved to scale of pay for Grade B after reaching
maximum of the higher scale are presently eligible for four stagnation
increments. With effect from November 1, 2017, these officers will be eligible
for five stagnation increments. The first four stagnation increments will be
released after every two completed years of service, of which first two shall be
Rs.1990/- each and next two shall be Rs.2220/- each. The fifth stagnation
increment of Rs.2220/- will be released two years after receipt of fourth
stagnation increment or w.e.f. November 1, 2017, whichever is later.
2.2 Officers in Grade B who have moved to scale of pay for Grade C after reaching
maximum of higher scale are presently eligible for four stagnation increments.
With effect from November 1, 2017 these officers will be eligible for five
stagnation increments. First four stagnation increments of Rs.2220/- will be

released after every two completed years of service after reaching the
maximum on the higher scale. The fifth stagnation increment of Rs.2220/- will
be released two years after release of fourth stagnation increment or w.e.f.
November 1, 2017, whichever is later.
2.3 Officers in substantive Grade C i.e. those who are recruited in or promoted to
Grade C are presently eligible for five stagnation increments. These officers
shall now be eligible for total six stagnation increments. First four stagnation
increments of Rs.2220/- each after every two completed years and next two
increments of Rs.2500/- each, two years after receipt of the fourth stagnation
increment. The sixth stagnation increment of Rs.2500/- will be released two
years after release of fifth stagnation increment or w.e.f. November 1, 2017,
whichever is later.
2.4 Officers in Grade D are presently eligible for one stagnation increment of
Rs.2500/- two years after reaching maximum of scale. These officers will now
be eligible for one additional stagnation increment of Rs.2730/- after two years
of receipt of first stagnation increment or w.e.f. November 1, 2017, whichever
is later.
2.5 Provided further that the Stagnation increment/s received by the Officers from
Grade A to Grade D who are/were in service of the Bank as on November 1,
2017 as per periodicity hereinbefore would be readjusted from three year
periodicity to two year periodicity from the date of reaching their maximum
and officer shall be notionally eligible for stagnation increments w.e.f.
November 1, 2017 as per the revised periodicity which will qualify for
superannuation benefits. However, monetary benefit on account of such revised
and readjusted periodicity of stagnation increment/s shall be payable from
November 1, 2020 or the actual date of entitlement whichever is later.
2.6 Officers in Grade E shall be eligible for one stagnation increment of Rs.2970/-
two years after reaching the maximum of scale or w.e.f. November 1, 2020,
whichever is later.

3. Dearness Allowance
On and from November 1, 2017, Dearness Allowance shall be payable for
every rise or fall of four points over 6352 points in the quarterly average of the All
India Average Working Class Consumer Price Index (General) Base 1960=100 at
0.07% of Pay. The revised Dearness Allowance Rates with effect from November 1,
2017 are as under:

4. House Rent Allowance (with effect from November 1, 2017)


4.1 Officers staying in their own accommodation arrangement shall be eligible for
House Rent Allowance as per the place of their posting, based on classification of
centres. The rate of House Rent Allowance will be as under:

4.2 House rent recovery shall be @ 0.50% of the first stage of the scale of pay in
which the officer is placed or the standard rent for the accommodation, whichever is
less.

5. City Compensatory Allowance (with effect from November 1, 2017)


The rate of City Compensatory Allowance (CCA) will be as under:

6. Location Allowance (Non-CCA Centres) (with effect from November 1,


2017)
Effective November 1, 2017, a fixed allowance of Rs.700/- p.m. is payable to
all officers posted in areas other than the areas that are eligible for City Compensatory
Allowance. This fixed allowance shall not be reckoned for payment of Dearness
Allowance, Superannuation Benefits viz. Pension including New Pension Scheme,
Provident Fund and Gratuity.

7. Learning Allowance
With effect from November 1, 2017, officers shall be paid Learning Allowance
of Rs.600/- together with applicable Dearness Allowance thereon.

8. Special Allowance (with effect from November 1, 2017)


With effect from November 1, 2017, officers shall be paid Special Allowance
as under:
Grade A to C 16.40% of Basic Pay + applicable Dearness Allowance thereon
Grade D & E 19% of Basic Pay + applicable Dearness Allowance thereon
Grade F & ED 20% of Basic Pay + applicable Dearness Allowance thereon
Note: The Special Allowance with applicable Dearness Allowance thereon shall not
be reckoned for superannuation benefits, viz. Pension including New Pension Scheme,
Provident Fund and Gratuity.

9. Additional Personal Allowance


9.1 Additional Personal Allowance aggregated with Special Allowance on
Promotion, Special Pay & Personal Allowance as frozen and drawn by
individual officers as on October 31, 2017 shall continue to be payable at the
existing quantum.
9.2 Frozen APA shall continue to qualify for superannuation benefits as under:
a. 50% of aggregated Frozen APA excluding Personal Allowance, if any,
shall qualify for Additional Pension, which shall not reckon for Dearness
Relief, for officers covered under Bank’s Pension Rules.
b. Core APA shall reckon for contribution to Provident Fund for employees
covered under Contributory Provident Fund Scheme.
c. Frozen APA shall reckon for contribution to NPS for employees governed
and covered under IDBI Bank Ltd New Pension Scheme.
d. Frozen APA shall reckon for Gratuity calculation.

10. Adjustable Allowance


10.1 In respect of officers in Grade D and above, the last drawn Grade Allowance as
on October 31, 2017 was frozen and paid as Adjustable Allowance. The frozen
amount was adjusted against the increase in Special Allowance and applicable
DA thereon over the last drawn Special Allowance plus applicable DA, starting
from November 1, 2017. Thus, there has been a gradual decrease in the
Adjustable Allowance paid to officers since November 1, 2017.
10.2 Adjustable Allowance as on March 2021, subsequent to the off-setting against
the increase in Special Allowance and applicable DA, shall be discontinued and
stands withdrawn effective from April 1, 2021.

11. Pension
11.1 In terms of Regulations 2 and 28 of IDBI Bank Pension Rules, pension payable
to eligible officers is based on the average of the emoluments drawn in the last
ten months preceding the retirement of the officer.

11.2 For the purpose of payment of pension, the Pay of the officer retiring on or
after November 1, 2017 will be taken on the basis of the Pay as is provided
under this settlement. However, in the case of officers who have retired from
the services of the Bank, on or after November 1, 2017 but before August 31,
2018, since the period of preceding ten months will constitute Pay both under
this Settlement as well as pertaining to previous Settlement for the period 2012-
17, in such cases the following procedure will be adopted for determining
Pension payable to such officers.
a. For the period of ten months falling on and from November 1, 2017, the
actual Pay (excluding APA) drawn by the officer under this Settlement;
and
b. For the period falling prior to November 1, 2017, the actual pay
(excluding APA) drawn by the officer plus Dearness Allowance at the
rate of 47.80% thereon will be notionally reckoned as Pay for the
purpose.
11.3 With effect from November 1, 2017, Pay drawn by the officers, who are
covered under IDBI Bank Pension Rules, shall be taken into consideration for
the purpose of calculation of pension as per the said Pension Rules in force. For
the purpose of pension, Pay shall comprise of Basic Pay, increment component
of Fixed Personal Pay, Professional Qualification Pay and Personal Pay, if any.
50% of Frozen APA (10 months average) will count for additional pension,
which shall not reckon for Dearness Relief.
11.4 Option not to claim incremental commutation on revised basic pension
Officers in service of the Bank as on November 1, 2017 and who have retired
thereafter but before the date of this settlement and who had opted for commutation of
pension will have an option not to claim incremental commutation on revised basic
pension.

12. Dearness Relief on Pension


12.1 With effect from November 1, 2017, in respect of officers covered under
Bank’s Pension Scheme, who retired or died while in service on or after

November 1, 2017, Dearness Relief shall be payable at 0.07% per slab on the
Basic Pension or Family Pension or Invalid Pension or Compassionate
Allowance excluding Additional Personal Allowance aggregated with Special
Allowance on Promotion and Special Pay (actual core component as the case
may be). Dearness Relief in the above manner shall be paid half yearly for
every rise or fall of 4 points over 6352 points in the quarterly average of the All
India Consumer Price Index for industrial workers in the series 1960=100.
12.2 Employees who were drawing/eligible for Additional Personal Allowance
(APA) in the salary structure and retired on or before October 31, 2017,
pension shall also include Core APA. The portion of eligible pension from
Core APA shall count for Dearness Relief upto October 31, 2017. With effect
from November 1, 2017, owing to discontinuation of DA on Core APA (upon
freezing), the portion of eligible pension from Core APA shall be merged with
DA @ 47.80% (frozen rate) and paid as Additional Pension. Dearness relief
shall not be payable on the Additional Pension. No option of difference
commutation is applicable for the pensioners retired on or before October 31,
2017.
12.3 Employees retired/retiring on or after November 1, 2017, shall draw fifty per
cent of frozen APA (excluding Personal Allowance, if any) which comprises of
last drawn core APA while in service merged with 47.80% of Dearness
Allowance as Additional Pension. Pension Commutation is applicable only on
the Core APA.
12.4 The above is being implemented in view of the freezing of Core APA and DA
@ 47.80% as on October 31, 2017 and discontinuation of further DA
thereafter, with effect from November 1, 2017. However, recovery if any, on
account of excess pension already paid to such retired employees due to higher
Dearness relief paid over October 2017 shall not be done.

13. Provident Fund


Officers who are covered under the Bank Employees’ Pension Regulations
1993 shall continue to contribute 10% of Pay towards Provident Fund and there shall

be no matching contribution. Officers who are covered under Contributory Provident


Fund Scheme shall continue under the Contributory Provident Scheme as hitherto.

14. New Pension Scheme


14.1 Officers who are governed by New Pension Scheme will continue to contribute
10% of Pay plus Dearness Allowance and the Bank will make a contribution of
14% of pay plus Dearness Allowance from November 11, 2020, subject to
confirmation from Indian Banks’ Association regarding approval of the same
from Government of India.
14.2 The service charges by the Service Provider/Fund Manager of New Pension
Scheme will be borne by the Bank from the FY 2021.

15. Family Pension


Family pension shall be payable at the uniform rate of 30 percent of Pay of the
deceased employee and that there shall be no ceiling on the family pension, subject to
confirmation from Indian Banks’ Association regarding approval of the same from
Government of India.

16. Medical Aid (currently paid as Private Treatment Scheme)


16.1 On and from November 1, 2017, reimbursement of medical expenses shall be
as under:
a. Officers in Grade A to C - Rs.10,300/- per annum.
b. Officers in Grade D to ED - Rs.12,300/- per annum.
16.2 The differential medical aid for the years 2017 to 2020 may be paid to officers
concerned in service on their making an application for reimbursement. For the year
2017, the reimbursement of medical expenses under the medical aid scheme shall be
enhanced proportionately for two months i.e. November and December 2017.

17. Fixed Personal Pay (with effect from November 1, 2017)


17.1 Fixed Personal Pay (FPP) together with House Rent Allowance shall be at the
following rates and shall remain frozen effective from November 1, 2017. Only

officers who were in the service of the Bank on or before November 1, 1993
will be eligible for Fixed Personal Pay one year after reaching the maximum
scale of pay they are placed.
17.2 Existing and revised total FPP for HRA (class-wise) and Non-HRA drawing

17.3 The increment component of FPP shall rank for superannuation benefits.

18. Professional Qualification Pay (with effect from November 1, 2017)


18.1 Officers shall be eligible for Professional Qualification Pay as under:
a. Those who have passed only CAIIB - Part I/JAIIB, Rs.1020/- per month
one year after reaching top of the scale.
b. Those who have passed both parts of CAIIB
i. Rs.1020/- per month one year after reaching top of the scale.
ii. Rs.2550/- per month two years after reaching top of the scale.
18.2 An officer acquiring JAIIB/CAIIB (either or both parts) qualifications after
reaching the maximum of the scale of pay, shall be granted from the date of
acquiring such qualification the first installment of Professional Qualification
Pay and the release of subsequent installments of Professional Qualification
Pay shall be with reference to the date of release of first installment of
Professional Qualification Pay.

19. Other Allowances


19.1 Deputation Allowance (with effect from April 1, 2021)
Deputation Allowance shall be at the following rates:
a) An officer deputed to serve outside the 7.75% of Basic Pay with a
Bank maximum of Rs.6000/-
b) An officer deputed to an organization at the 4% of Basic Pay with a
same place maximum of Rs.3000/-

19.2 Hill and Fuel Allowance (with effect from November 1, 2017)

19.4 Special Area Allowance (with effect from November 1, 2017)


At places where Special Area Allowance is payable in terms of the applicable
guidelines, the said allowance shall be payable at the rates as in Table I.

19.5 Project Area Allowance


With effect from April 1, 2021, Project Area Compensatory Allowance shall be
payable at the following rates. The list of project areas is given at Table II.

 Project Areas falling in Group B - Rs.525/- per month

19.6 Non-adjustable Allowance for acquiring PhD qualification and Special


Allowance to Private Secretaries shall be continued for the existing recipients
as per extant guidelines without any change in the prevailing rates. The above
allowances are not payable for those officers who have not drawn the same
before the date of settlement.
19.7 Special Non-adjustable Allowance (Rs.475/- per month payable to officers in
Grade A who are not promoted for 8 years) shall stand withdrawn with effect
from April 1, 2021.

20. Mid Academic Year Transfer Allowance


20.1 On or after April 1, 2021, an officer who is transferred from one place to
another, involving change of station, in the midst of an academic year and if
he/she has one or more children studying in school or college in the former
place of posting, a Mid Academic Year Transfer Allowance of Rs.1650/- is
payable per month from the date the officer reports at the new place of posting
upto the end of the academic year in respect of all the children. Provided that
such allowance shall cease if all the children cease studying or academic
closure of school/college at the former place of posting.
20.2 The allowance is payable for all children together, irrespective of the number
of children, and not per child. The said allowance shall not be payable in case
of request transfers.
20.3 Consequent to introduction of Mid Academic Year Transfer Allowance,
officers who are transferred on or after April 1, 2021, shall not be eligible for
Educational Allowance. Existing recipients of Educational Allowance shall
continue to draw the same as per the extant guidelines.

21. Definition of Family (with effect from April 1, 2021):


21.1 For the purpose of medical facilities and for the purpose of leave fare
concession, the expression ‘family’ of an employee shall mean:
a) the employee’s spouse, wholly dependent unmarried children (including step
children and legally adopted children) wholly dependent physically and

mentally challenged brother/sister with 40% or more disability, widowed


daughters and dependent divorced/separated daughters, sisters including
unmarried/divorced/abandoned or separated from husband/widowed sisters as
also parents wholly dependent on the employee.
b) The term wholly dependent family member shall mean such member of family
having a monthly income not exceeding Rs.12,000/- per month. If the income
of one of the parents exceeds Rs.12,000/- per month or the aggregate income of
both the parents exceeds Rs.12,000/- per month, both the parents shall not be
considered as wholly dependent on the officer employee.
c) A married female employee may include her natural parents or parent-in-laws
under the definition of family, but not both, provided that the parents/parent-in-
laws are wholly dependent on her.
Note:- For the purpose of medical expenses reimbursement for all employees i.e.
male/female any two of the dependent parents/parents-in-law shall be covered. The
officer employee will have the choice to substitute either of the dependents or both.
Physically challenged children of employees to be defined as dependents, irrespective
of age or marital status, subject to the income criteria.

22. Compensation on Transfer (with effect from April 1, 2021 in lieu of


Incidental expenses)
22.1 An officer on transfer will be eligible to draw a lumpsum amount as indicated
below for expenses connected with packaging, local transportation, insuring the
baggage etc.

22.2 Extant terms and guidelines as applicable for claim of Incidental expenses shall
be applicable for Compensation on Transfer. The said allowance shall not be
payable in case of request transfers.

23. Leave Fare Concession:


Currently, Leave Fare Concession (LFC) scheme of the Bank provides for
reimbursement on declaration basis per annum as a fixed ceiling limit ranging from
Rs.12,500/- (Gr. A) to Rs.75,000/- (ED) per annum which is a taxable amount. An
officer may alternatively claim reimbursement by production of actual travel bills,
subject to the same maximum ceiling limits and tax as per CBDT guidelines will be
applicable. The LFC scheme guidelines have been modified as mentioned below:

a. During each block of 4 years, an officer shall be eligible for leave travel
concession for travel to his place of domicile once in each block of two years.
Alternatively, he may travel in one block of two years to his place of domicile
and in another block of two years to any place in India by the shortest route.
b. Alternatively, an officer, by exercising an option anytime during a two year
block, surrender and encash his LFC upon which he shall be entitled to receive
amount as per table below:

D Rs.40,000/- or amount equivalent to AC 1st Class travel by train up
to a distance of 5500 kms (one way) for self and his/her family
members, whichever is higher.
E Rs.50,000/- or amount equivalent to AC 1st Class travel by train up
to a distance of 5500 kms (one way) for self and his/her family
members, whichever is higher.
F Rs.60,000/- or amount equivalent to AC 1st Class travel by train up
to a distance of 5500 kms (one way) for self and his/her family
members, whichever is higher.
ED Rs.75,000/- or amount equivalent to AC 1st Class travel by train up
to a distance of 5500 kms (one way) for self and his/her family
members, whichever is higher.

c. The travel mode and class by which an officer may travel while availing LFC
on reimbursement basis shall be as per his/her entitled mode of travel. While
availing LFC an officer in Grade A may travel by air in the lowest fare
economy class, in which case the reimbursement will be the actual fare or the
fare applicable to AC II tier fare by train for the distance traveled, whichever is
less. The above guidelines shall be applicable to officers in Grade B and C also
when the distance travelled is less than 500 kms.
d. The expression ‘Family’ shall mean as defined in Clause 21 for the purpose of
medical facilities.
e. LFC under the scheme shall continue to be for domestic travel only, no claim
on reimbursement basis, shall be paid towards any travel involving foreign
destinations.
f. Block period for LFC shall start on April 1, 2021 for all confirmed officers
who are in service of the Bank as on April 1, 2021. For officers joining the
Bank thereafter, the block period shall start from the date of joining the Bank
and they shall be eligible for LFC on confirmation. For the purpose of income
tax exemption, the block period as defined under the Income Tax Rules, 1962
shall be applicable.

24. Ordinary Leave Encashment:


a. Presently, officers are permitted to encash ordinary leave upto 15 days every
financial year. The facility has now been modified, wherein, in lieu of the
existing scheme, encashment of one month’s Ordinary Leave (OL) once in a
block of four years or 15 days encashment of Ordinary Leave in each block of
2 years would be permitted. Block period shall be as applicable for LFC.
b. For such encashment, Basic Pay, frozen APA, Dearness Allowance, House
Rent Allowance (actual or notional), CCA and all other regular allowances
shall be considered.
c. Additional one day OL may be encashed once in a calendar year for
contribution to Prime Minister’s National Relief Fund or such other funds
which are covered for claiming exemption under Section 80G of Income Tax

Act, as against no limit in number of days of encashment at present for such


purposes.
d. Additionally, 5 days of OL encashment shall be permissible for each calendar
year at the time of any festival of choice.

25. Date of Effect


For payment of arrears, the benefits under various provisions as above shall be
from November 1, 2017, unless otherwise specified against the relevant provisions.
