*) Volunteer work

Many people agree that volunteering has made a significant contribution to the community. I
wholeheartedly agree with this statement. First and foremost, people who are in need can
receive enough help. When their needs are met by the community, they can begin a better life
and give back to the community, particularly those of working age. Moreover, other people
can be inspired by volunteer work. The more people who volunteer, the more volunteer
organizations are established, and the more goals people can achieve to change society.
Kindness can be spread among everyone and make the community a better place to live. Not
only that, but volunteering also helps people, particularly young people, advance in their
careers. It can help people get experience in their area of interest and meet people in the field.
Even if they’re not planning on changing careers, volunteering gives them the opportunity to
practice important skills used in the workplace, such as teamwork, communication, problem
solving, and so on. In short, participating in unpaid work not only benefits the community but
also allows people to gain experience and apply for jobs.
