There are debates about adolescents should be required to undertake free community services.

Besides
some drawbacks, the advantages it brings about are more outstanding. So, to a large extent, I tend to agree
with the given statement.

The first potential benefit is gain valuable experience. Volunteer service allows the young to practice their
academic content outside the context of classroom and develop critical thinking skills while solving real
world problems. Next, it is clear that this is an opportunity to build their network and connections with
industry professionals, have a wide variety of people to reach out to for help. They never know what
doors this may open. This serves not only for an individual’s benefits but also for a whole community’s
advantages. They can help more people successfully resolve then problems of hunger, poverty, illiteracy
and many others that people are suffering from just by doing social service, which are usually not too
tricky that everyone can do. They can live a better life, have enough clothes to wear, have a chance to
change the future. As a result, society’s quality of life will be improved and the community can be better.
Doing unpaid works are also valuable for the youngest to get their dream company in the future because
it’s allows to build good resume before finding a job. Moreover, even those on the receiving end of these
acts of kindness will fell inspired to contribute in whatever way they can. Acts of charity are contagious
and always trigger a chain reaction.

Not only this, there are other issues to be considered while discussing about the statement. Although there
can be benefits to unpaid work experience, which is clearly why so many teenagers are choosing to do it,
in some cases it may actually brings detrimental effects. Some people have limited time frame for studies
within which they have to complete heavy syllabus. And, being involved in volunteering in this fruitful
time may hamper their studies.

Having said all these, I firmly believe that the free community serve should be made compulsory for the
young generation.
