GOAL
The goal is to create a Martial Law module composed
of:
One poem
One 2 minute Educational Tiktok video OR Two 1
minute Tiktok videos
ROLE
You are an educator who has been recruited by
martiallawmuseum.ph to create a module
combatting myths about Martial Law and the
Marcos dictatorship.
AUDIENCE
SHS teachers and students all over the Philippines
SITUATION
In recent years, there have been multiple attempts to depict the Marcos martial law years as the
“Golden Era” of our nation. Historians, educators, and concerned citizens believe that it is
necessary for Filipino citizens to “never forget” the injustices that occurred during this painful
period in our country’s history, lest we repeat the mistakes of the past.
As such, the martiallawmuseum.ph has been created to combat myths and provide accurate
information about this time. You have been contacted by martiallawmuseum.ph to be part of their
mission and to create texts for a module for Senior High School Students.
PRODUCT
Your module must contain the following:
1. One poem inspired by any of the following Martial
law texts, with a persona written from a different
point of view:

2. An entertaining and informative 2 minute tiktok
(Or two 1 minute tiktoks) on the topic “MARTIAL LAW:
FACTS VS. MYTHS”.

2 Martial law Myths
Real facts that dispel/debunk these myths,
An analysis of these facts.
The use of Images, audio, and text to present
compelling facts and examples. You may dance,
act, or lipsync if you wish.
A list of your credible and valid sources in the
end. You are encouraged to use videos, audio,
news and magazine publications of the period.
