Beowulf Final section-

In his last battle, Beowulf fights a dragon that has been guarding a buried
treasure. An enslaved person discovers the hoard and steals a cup, which causes the
dragon to ravage the countryside in anger. As king Beowulf nominates himself to rid the
land of this destructive dragon.
After he succeeds in killing his opponent he is mortally wounded. but Beowulf is
mortally wounded from a bite in the neck. Before he dies, he names Wiglaf his
successor. Beowulf is cremated on a funeral pyre, and his remains are buried in a
barrow built by the sea.
