The BSTM 4A students organized a webinar on December 5, 2022, the first day of
the MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences and Events Management) Webinar, with
the assistance of their MICE adviser Mr. Jerome R. Fernandez. The webinar's theme
was "Global and Local Artificial Intelligence (AI): Revamping the Technological
revolution Era in Tourism and Hospitality Industry."

The said students who organized the meeting, launch into welcoming and
introducing the masters of ceremony. After that, they embark on the highlights or the
importance of the meeting. Atty. Chad Patrick Osorio, a guest speaker and began his
discussion on what the event was all about. He talk through about artificial intelligence
or better known as A.I. Before the session, he interrogate us, students, if we know some
A.I. characters, few of our mates answered Baymax from Big Hero 6 and WALL-E, short
for Waste Allocation Load Lifter Earth-class. Afterwards, he chew over the understand
of A.I., our current situation with A.I., it's capability, the goal of artificial intelligence, and
the downsides of A.I. This one particular part of the session that I remembered was the
Data Training Needs, which are training, validation, and test data. The “training” data set
is the general term for the samples used to create the model, while the “test” or
“validation” data set is like the used to qualify performance. At last, he talked about the
5 advices and called it "#Chadvices". In the end, they start giving us students, some
foods and drinks, and certificates to us as well as the organizers.
