A. My religious viewpoint about on the issue of Divorce is Divorce is permitted in My
religious viewpoint as a last resort if it is not possible to continue a marriage. Certain steps need to be taken to ensure that all options have been exhausted and both parties are treated with respect and justice. My religious viewpoint promotes reconciliation, through negotiated settlements between the spouses themselves or the use of arbitrators from their families. However, when “mutual good treatment” is not possible, there should be an amicable parting. In My religious viewpoint, it is believed that married life should be filled with mercy, compassion, and tranquility. Marriage is a great blessing. Each partner in the marriage has certain rights and responsibilities, which are to be fulfilled in a loving way in the best interests of the family. When a marriage is in danger, couples are advised to pursue all possible remedies to rebuild the relationship. Divorce is allowed as a last option, but it is discouraged. My spiritual viewpoint about on the issue of Divorce is to surrender is to accept the flow of life, trusting that our life plan will execute exactly as it is meant to if we don’t try to force its direction.
B. My religious/spiritual viewpoint about on the issue of Capital Punishment is
believe that capital punishment is a most severe sentence but one that may be commanded by a court for crimes of suitable severity, but applied in the case of murder, adultery, and spying. Because life is sacred, those who wrongfully take another human life must lose their own lives. While there may be more profound punishment at the hands of God, there is also room for an earthly punishment. “Take not life, which God has made sacred, except by way of justice and law. Thus, does He command you, so that you may learn wisdom.”
"Whoever sheds the blood of man, by man shall his blood be shed; for in the image of God has God made man."
