LESSON 2:
EXERCISE PRESCRIPTION

ACTIVITY 1
REFLECTIVE ESSAY:

In doing some of your exercise workouts or programs, do you consciously

consider and follow significant principles such as MFIT, exercise training principles,
three phases of exercise program? What are your realization and future plans?

Answer:
Living a good life feels great in such a way that it maintains and/or
improves our physical fitness level and mental psyche same as it gives us energy
levels to avoid chronic illnesses which leads us to a higher quality of life.
However, since some of us just know a little about the goodness of exercise;
unfortunately, they do not know how good we can get over time.

On the other hand, every time I’m doing an exercise, I always make sure
that the first thing I do is to do warm-ups in order for me to avoid body aches
afterwards. Furthermore, I also make schedules on how frequent I should do my
morning exercises, how many hours should I invest on it, and how hard I want it
to be. At all times, I want to do my plans according to what I intended to do that
day for me to proceed to my other agendas given that if I skip something, it will
bother me all day.

Thus, I realized that while doing workouts and/or programs that are
associated with our health, we should always ensure that we follow significant
principles as well as guidelines in order to prevent accidents that can affect us
and our performances in the future. Also, by planning ahead of time of
everything, we can foresee what we might encounter during the activities and
make alternative measures to avoid it.
