Workshop Evaluation & Analysis


The findings in this report stem from the Professional Development (PD) evaluation of Bloom’s Taxonomy
Workshop dated 5/10/2021 presented by Mrs. Riyam Shaar. Postworkshop evaluations were submitted by a
total of 5 teachers were received and analyzed. The purpose of the evaluation was to provide a guide that can
be used to create objectives and assessments based on the presenter’s experience and new educational
theories and practices. The survey addressed the following topics:

1. Highest Ranking Indicators


2. The workshop stated objectives or purpose
3. The workshop enhanced skills/knowledge
4. The implementation of the new skills/techniques in the classroom
5. Key elements of workshop design
6. Trainer’s Effectiveness
7. Areas of learning evaluation

100% of the participants indicated that the workshop met its stated objectives.

There is consensus that the workshop was effective. Participants reported high admiration to the
workshop pace of learning, logical sequence, and the trainer what made the overall feedback was so
positive and what encouraged all the participants to choose to recommend the workshop to a colleague
or friend.

The workshop could enhance knowledge/skills of the educational competencies needed to modify
behavior. 100% of the participants stated that the workshop enhanced their skills whether ‘to a great
extent’ or ‘in most respects’.

100% of the participants were very confident or confident they will implement the skills/techniques
already acquired in the workshop in their classroom instruction.

As to key elements of workshop design, all participants considered the pace, facilities, logical sequence
of the workshop were good. However, the duration of the workshop was good to 73% of the participants
whereas 27% of them found the workshop very long or short.

Participants liked the areas of learning related to presentation clarity, questionnaire conducted and the
open discussion.

Of the areas they expressed the need of improvement are the short duration of the workshop (40% of the
participants), eye contact (20%), chart modification that it should not present all data at once, and the
need to give more examples to clarify the given information. Participants did not suggest any areas to be
included in the workshop.
