2.26 A model will be supplied by FMV in connection with the FMV production
briefing to the appointed manufacturer. In the case of any difference
between the model and this Technical Specification, the Technical
Specification shall take precedence.
2.27 If any documentation supplied by FMV should seem incorrect, FMV must
be informed about this. No drawings or specifications may be altered
without the agreement of FMV.

3. PRODUCT REQUIREMENTS
The choice of material for all parts of SVS 12 shall be such that the
characteristics of the system are not affected negatively in a maritime
environment. This means that all parts of the material shall be resistant to
rot and corrosion, not to be damaged by sea water, perspiration, oil or
fungal attack.
3.3 Inner fabric: Polyester fabric for the inside of Personal trauma pouch
and Multi pouch Small
3.4 Elastic mesh: knitted fabric with elastane for inner pockets
Mass per unit area: 395 ± 25 g/m2 acc. to EN ISO 3801, method 5
Colour: Black
3.6 Band:
3.6 Braided cord for puller tab on zipper. Wash proof water repellent.
Ø 3-4 mm: The cord to be melt cut.
3.10 Zipper:
Colour: Same shade as the outer fabric.
Other: All zippers to have puller cord, shrink plastic tube and
plastic end cap.
3.10.1 Zipper 1,: For the Multi pouch large and Dump pouch.
6 mm coil The zipper to be made of 100 % polyester woven-in spiral
6.0 mm.
Band-width to be 10 mm and made of 100 % polyester.
The chain to have a bottom stop and a metal non-lock slider.
The zipper to be tested acc. to BS 3084:1992 and FMV’s
demands shall be fulfilled.
3.10.2 Zipper 2,: For the Multi pouch small and Personal trauma pouch

3.19 HDPE board for reinforcement of attachment straps all pouches except
1.0 mm: tool- and tourniquet. Front piece on Magazine-, Single
magazine- ,Multi pouch large and medium and also back

4. MANUFACTURING
Thread breaks and ends of all seams and stitchings shall be securely
locked and backstitched at least 25 to 30 mm.
Each seam shall fulfill the same requirements as the outer fabric with the
same strength both length- and crosswise.
4.6 Bar tacks, the length of the bar tacks shall be adapted to the width of
bands.
Bar tacking special machine, stitch type 304, stitch depth 1.5 – 2 mm.

5. QUALITY ASSURANCE
Supplier's Commitments
The supplier shall establish and maintain an effective quality system that
meets the requirements of EN ISO 9001, Quality management systems -
Requirements. Permissible exclusion: Sub-clause 7.3, Design and
development.
The supplier shall provide FMV*, in good time before the start of
production, with reference samples and material together with documents
according to a, b, c, d, and e, listed below.
The requirements in this Technical Specification must be fulfilled.
FMV reserves the right to review the supplier's quality system and to make
manufacturing and quality inspections during the current period of contract
in a way that FMV considers suitable.
