Dear Ms. Coulter,

My name is Danielle Goodman. I am a senior at Geneva College. My major is education,

but it is a double major in special education and regular education. While also being at
Geneva, I minored in psychology. That is also a passion of mine! Since being at Geneva I
have not always been an education major. I first came into college focusing on biology for
physical therapy in pediatrics. I soon realized that my love for education especially in
elementary and special education was where I was supposed to be. It has been an
amazing journey studying at Geneva and I cannot wait for special education block to
start! While also being in the education program, I play softball for Geneva which has
allowed me to grow in so many ways and learn time management skills! Overall, I am
very excited to meet you and the students! Life Skills support is something I have always
been interested in due to my cousin actually needing these as he has grown in his
educational journey. He is highly autistic and non-verbal, but is one of the greatest
blessings in my life. Looking forward to meeting you and sharing new experiences with
you!
