Introduction:

Good day. I’m Shella Mae Adrales a second year student in Leyte Colleges take a
course Bachelor of Science in Criminology. And I’m here conducting a three
person who have a deviant behavior before and this is a requirement of my subject
Human behavior and Victimology. Human behavior refers to the reaction to facts
of circumstances between the individual and his environment. It is influenced by
both genes and environment. It refers to full range of physical and emotional
behaviors that human engage in biologically, socially, intellectually and are
influenced by culture, attitudes, emotions, values, ethics, authority, rapport,
persuasion, coercion and or genetics. Victimology is the study of victimization,
including the psychological effects on victims, relationships between victims and
offenders, the interactions between victims and the Criminal Justice system that is
the police and courts, and corrections official and the connections between victims
and other social groups.
Our given topic is Deviant Behavior. Deviant behavior is any behavior that is
contrary to the dominant norms of society. There are many different theories that
explain how behavior comes to be classified as deviant and why people engage in
it, including biological explanations, psychological explanations, and sociological
explanations. Examples of formal deviance include robbery, theft, rape, murder,
and assault. The second type of deviant behavior involves violations of informal
social norms and referred to as informal deviance.
