Animal abusers should get harsher punishment

Animals have feelings and if they get hit they feel that just as much as humans, a animals
can put all their trust in their owner and alot of animals wont put their trust in another
human again.

If a human abuses a dog the dog will loose all trust in humans and then the dog will get
agressive towards humans and will most likely get put down because some person doesnt
know that you shouldnt abuse animals.

The animal that gets abused will probably end up in a animal shelter since the first owner
didnt want it because theres a chance they become very aggresive and theres a big chance
that no-one will want a aggresive shelter animal, So the animal will spend the rest of its life
curled up in a circle in the shelter scared for its life and wont trust another human again.

Some people might think that just because that its a animal they wont have the mental
trauma that a human can get from abuse but thats completetly incorrect, a animal can
remeber things and can become aggresive against humans and for that reason might never
get a forever home or even in the worst cases might get put down. So just because one
person could not handle a animal in the right way that animals life goes to waste and in the
worst case gets killed.

In conclusion i think that animal abusers should get a harsher punishment since the abuse
most likely will be the reason a animal gets put down cause it cant be a calm and non
aggresive animal again and since alot of people dont want to re-build trust with a mentally
scarred animal it will get put down eventually
