Historical account helps historian to gather important information that records the
significant events or source of the discoveries. Confirming the sources, it must be
critically observed, studied and implemented with the tests of authenticity and credibility.

Yes. Upon reading the given historical accounts, I am convinced that these are reliable
and credible. Basing the historical method or findings of Armand Mijares, an
anthropologist from UP- Diliman who leads the discovery of Homo luzonensis, you
could actually test the credibility of this account with the examination or observation
using internal criticism. The facts identified in the said account can be justified through
the corroboration. The historical facts was supported and rested upon the testimony of
some professional witnesses, trusted with their field of expertise such as Philip Piper,
Shara Bailey, Lee Berger, Martinon Torres and etc. If you would examine the given
sources, you can also see the author’s personal background containing the
information that gives assurance to their works and findings. The date when it was
published was also updated declaring an unbiased opinion from the witnesses.
Examining sources, it is necessary to evaluate each source to determine the quality of
the information provided within it. Purpose and intended audience, authority and
credibility, accuracy and reliability, currency and timeliness, and objectivity or biases are
the common evaluation criteria. (Brock University Library, 2020) Stated in the resources
are validated discovery of human fossils studied by the reliable practitioners give
credibility within these accounts. Informations were detailed and synchronized which
can be apprehended by everyone that strengthens the historical sources. The three
accounts provide the needed and accurate informations which we can identify its
reliability. Thus, examining the resources help individuals learn and evalutate the
human discovery amending the state of historical discoveries.

In conclusion, it is needed to cite and observe good historical sources for you to be able
to identify the reliable accounts from not. With these evidences aforementioned above
using the CRAP (currency, reliability, authority and purpose ) testing through historical
or internal criticism, the historical accounts of the discovery of unearthed human fossils
called “Callao Man” is reliable and credible.
