AMTA continues to be a strong voice for regulatory and
legislative change to remove regulatory obstacles and
encourage increased use of membrane filtration and
desalting processes for water by representing membrane
filtration interests before the U.S. Congress, state legisla-
tures, state and federal regulatory agencies, and the media.

Members receive discounted rates on AMTA sponsored
technology transfer workshops, webinars, online training,
conferences and publications. Members also receive dis-
counts on events and publications sponsored by the Inter-
national Desalination Association (IDA).
Company Recognition
Member companies have the opportunity to submit a 100-
word company profile with their information that is
viewable by all members and be recognized for sponsoring

Networking & Information Exchange
AMTA provides regional, national and international
networking opportunities between membrane industry,
utilities and consultants. A membership directory is
available to AMTA members to promote networking.
Members Only Resources
Members enjoy complimentary access to the Solutions
quarterly newsletter; technical white papers and reports
developed by AMTA; the Digital Library with conference
and workshop proceedings, papers and presentations;
and searchable membership directory. Members have the
opportunity to submit articles for AMTA’s publications
and events.

Each year, AMTA members are recognized for their
contributions to the membrane industry based on
nominations of their peers. AMTA with support of its
partners recognizes outstanding graduate student
research with annual fellowship awards.
