Position Title: Application /System Engineer I

Reporting Alignment: Systems Eng Supervisor

Job summary: Application /System engineers are responsible for execution of all engineering activities for the projects assigned to them within the agreed schedule
& budget and with best in class quality.

Responsibilities:
Core Activities  Execute the projects with supervision - Control system Hardware/ Software Detail Design, Testing, FAT with customer.
 Review various project inputs and tender specification.
 Responsible to ensure that projects/tasks are executed within agreed schedule and budget to meet the customer
requirements.
 Participation in turnover meeting or project review meetings with technical queries and scope clarification.
 Identifying potential issues and flagging them proactively to supervisor.
 Record defects in Defect Management System and take Corrective Action/Preventive Action to meet quality standards.
 Ensures that the final deliverable meets the functional specifications of the end user by doing thorough quality checks using
quality checklist/software testing/lab testing where applicable.
 Ensuring time sheet entry into appropriate buckets by every Friday.
 Skill Enhancement by mandatory training as decided by his/her Manager and by self learning
 Onsite Installation supervision & Commissioning support activities for BMS systems

Domain HVAC Hardware Tasks:

 Review of mechanical drawings and specifications in arriving at a detailed scope.
 Review of specifications for product selection and system architecture.
 Preparation/Review of schedules e.g. valve and damper and air flow station schedules, etc.
 Preparation/review of system architecture.
 Preparation/Review of Sequence of Operation/Functional Specifications.
 Preparation/review of IO point list, system wise plant schematics, H/W interlocking diagrams
as required.
 Selection/review of parts/devices to meet customer specifications.
 Preparation/review of spec compliance doc.
 Preparation/review of material deviation report.

Software Tasks:
 Review of inputs and specifications/control drawings to understand detailed scope.
 Preparation/review of programming code in compliance to the requirements and regional
standards.
 Offline simulation testing /lab testing to ensure code meets quality requirements & is in line
with functional specification
Fire and Security  Preparation/Review of floor plans and device layout.
 Preparation/Review of functional design specifications.
 Preparation/Review of product selection based on door/camera summary.
 Preparation/review of system architecture.
 Preparation/Review of cause and effect.
 Preparation/review of battery calculation.
 Preparation/review of controller wiring drawings, third party interface
documentation/drawings.
 Preparation of spec compliance doc.
 Preparation of FAT/SAT/Operations and Maintenance manuals.
 Review of inputs and specifications for software in arriving at a detailed scope.
 Preparation/review of programming code in compliance to the inputs and regional standards.
