Lavish or Simple Lifestyle is not a thing to debate as it all depends on the person
how he/she wants to live. In my opinion, if you have enough assets and money,
you can go ahead and enjoy your life along with helping other people who can’t
even live a simple life without support. But as our religion suggests a simple life
and gives us a lesson to be a helpful person to the society and community so we
should also take care of our surrounding community if there is someone so much
need of money that you’d just go and spend on a dinner in a restaurant. Then of
course you should go ahead and help them instead of continuing your lavish life.
So, I can say that Simple lifestyle is the best way to go.
Lavish lifestyle is when you try to enjoy your own life as much as you can with
your extra wealth and assets. This lifestyle can affect your surrounding society
and community as there are other people around you who cannot enjoy the same
stuff as you are doing. So, you must be aware that you could hurt someone by
enjoying your own life. Furthermore, Lavish lifestyle leads to overspending which
is prohibited in Islam. But enjoying your life within limits can also bring a lavish
lifestyle in your life which is pretty good. You can help others and enjoy your own
life at the same time by keeping everything in balance.
Simple lifestyle is one of the best lifestyles and it was being followed by our
Prophets and should be followed by everyone because it symbolizes Equality in a
society. When everyone lives the same life, no one gets hurt by watching others
enjoying more than they can ever do. Simple lifestyle certainly doesn’t mean that
you should become a miser and start saving all the wealth for yourself. But it
means that you should live a simple life and distribute your extra wealth and
assets among people who are deserving. Simple lifestyle can lead to equality and
circulation of wealth in a society which is a really good symbol. It keeps everything
in balance.
The conclusion of the essay is that we should live a simple life and still we can
enjoy many moments and things along the way but overspending and a
lavish/luxurious lifestyle is not good for society or for ourselves as it can even lead
people to bankrupt after taking loans from the bank and our religion Islam also
suggests a Simple lifestyle.
