SPECIAL PROPERTIES LEUCHTEND ETB LIQ. is a highly affine whitening agent for polyester fibres. The
application is performed by the exhaustion process. In case of native polyester fibres
the affinity is high and depends only slightly on temperature. At nylon fibres the
affinity is slightly less compared to that of native polyester fibres. However, by the
addition of salt the affinity can be increased.
 Economical without compromise in whiteness
 Excellent whiteness in the exhaust process at 95*C (even without a carrier)
 Neutral and stable to alkalis
 Good optical whitening effect at broad pH value 3.0 – 6.0
 Has an inherent greenish to bluish hue
 100% dispersion and exhaustion
COMPATIBILITY LEUCHTEND ETB LIQ. is compatible with anionic, non-ionic and cationic products.
Preliminary trials are recommended.

APPLICATION

EXHAUST APPLICATION

Excellent whiteness is obtained with LEUCHTEND ETB LIQ. at 95° C, even without the addition of a carrier.
Optimum whiteness can be achieved at temperatures ranging between 95° C and 130° C for 30 minutes

At 98ºC without Carrier process : 0.1% to 0.6% LEUCHTEND ETB LIQ.

HT process (15-30 mins. at 130°C) : 0.2% to 1.2% LEUCHTEND ETB LIQ.

210°C
15 to 30 seconds

AS IS THE CASE WITH ALL DISPERSIONS, LEUCHTEND ETB LIQ. MAY TEND TO SETTLE DOWN ON PROLONGED STORAGE.
IN SUCH A CASE, SIMPLE STIRRING SHALL RETURN THE PRODUCT TO ITS ORIGINAL FORM.

STORAGE The product is not sensitive to frost. Shelf life 24 months in closed original containers
