Indegene Pvt Ltd is a life sciences commercialization company, with its headquarters in

Bangalore. It was founded in 1998 and currently has offices in North America, Europe, China,

and India, with more 4000 employees. Indegene helps provide the biopharmaceutical, emerging

biotech and medical device companies with R&D, product development, clinical trials, digital

marketing content for pharma Sales Rep, get them to the market, and Digital Transformation

Consulting.

Indegene ensures that the salary it provides to the employees is at par or higher than its

market competitors. They also try to ensure that the compensation structure is as flexible as

possible, so that the employees can make the most of it. Other than the regular salary

components like Basic Pay, HRA, PF and Gratuity the company provides the employees with the

option of Flexible Benefit components. Such a compensation structure ensures that they are

adequately empowered to apportion components of your salary in a manner that suits them the

Other than this there are also other rewards that are given on a quarterly and annual basis

and these awards are directly rewarded by the CEO or other CXO level person. Other than

performance the employees are also recognized for other achievements like social work, how

long they have been with the firm, learning achievements etc. Aspire points are also given to all

the employees as benefits on special occasions like festivals, birthdays, work anniversary etc.

Indegene also provides other perks to its employees such as Professional certificate cashback,

anniversary etc.

One of the innovative methods that the company takes to ensure that employees feel recognized

is through featuring all the employees who have won the monthly awards on the company

internal website for that month. Indegene has also created a social media website for all its

employees. Using this platform, the employees can show their appreciations and recognize the

effort of the colleagues and juniors, which makes them more attached to the firm as well as to

their colleagues.

The employees also have the opportunity to showcase and be recognized for their extra-

curricular talents by participating in various events like IPL (Indegene Premier League), IndeFest

(company’s cultural event), digital summit etc. All these rewards and recognition initiatives as

well as the flexible compensation structure help the company in attracting and retaining its

employees effectively.
