Psychological Perspective: Freud

Identify experience(s) that he/she would like to know during the period of childhood amnesia.

1. Select a family member whom you could talk to about your childhood experiences.
- My mama is the one picked to talk about it.

2. Which of your childhood experiences you can relate to Freud’s Psychosexual Stages of
Development? Why did you choose that stage and ere you able to resolve them?
- Me and my mama had a story telling about me, so for me the stage I was related was the oral
because mama told me that she’s the one I want to take care of me and feed me, not until when I
turned 6-7 months they feed me the cerelac or the food for babies and anyone who feed even my
sisters I wouldn’t cry like before, I also do hold my own milk when my mama made me some that’s
why I chose this because I saw an development of me in this stage and I also resolve of being a
picky person of would take care and feed me.

3. Do you believe that your personality is influenced by Freud’s Psychosexual Stages of

Development? Why?
- I am not fully sure with the word influenced but I do relate with stages given below. My mama talks
more about me when I was baby until I grown a little and more, and base what my mama tells
about me I do relate with the stages because I do develop like how in Freud’s Psychosexual Stages
developments.
