The importance of team work. It is better to do things with other people or to do them on
your own?

Nowadays, more and more people talk fewer about team work, and not many
individuals can give us examples of partnerships. Personally, I think that team work has
strong and down points for some reasons.
First and foremost, the beginning where the child learn about collaboration is from a
young age in kindergarden or school. The infant need to learn about how to give and take,
share, take turns, communicate, compromise, respect; all these abilities being a core
confidence in themselves and social skills.
Another factor to consider is sport cooperation. No one team is successful without
working together to rich a common goal. It is about a continuous work with ownself,
trusting a teammate, cooperation, socialization and confidence.
On the other hand, not everybody is included in group activities, and for some
feelings inside, the person is determined to do the same task better and to be the first in
everything. New opportunities will motivated their perspectives, purpose and goals.
Taking everything into consideration, the collaborative effort of a group encourage
confidence and social skills and doing things on your own implies the same things, but
requires more time, effort and parts of ownself.

At the Lloyd Drama College, we are offering four free places on our summer courses. Write
to Cynthia Roddick, the director, explaining
 Why you want do attend the course
 What acting and/or dancing experience you have
 How many days a week you would be available.
Write your letter. Do not write any postal addresses.

Dear Mrs. Roddick,

I am writing to apply for one of your free places in drama summer course as
advertised in the local newspaper.
I am a 15 year – old – student in hight school, who is extremely interested in having a
career in theathre industry.
As previous experience, I have always been involved in staging some school plays for
charitable purposes. I have also take some music lesson and latino dances. This course will
be highly benefitial for my future development.
I am communicative, confident and determinated to progress in domain. As
communication skills, I can speak English, Spanish, Korean in which I am fluent in
conversation.
Seems I am in holiday, I will be available most everyday as in Thursday and Sunday
afternoons I have a job as baby sitter.
