through knowledge of the various roles of the DR nurse in the delivery room. Perform basic
nursing skills and procedures with ease and competence . Demonstrate positive and desirable
required in the deleiver room. .

1. Observe sterile technique all throughout the delivery as a handle nurse. .

2. Recognize the identity of the placenta. ______________

3. Perform his/her responsibility as a handle, assist, and cord care.____________

4. Handle the instruments carefully and clean them after the procedure. _______

5. Note the signs of placental separation and observe the expulsion of the placenta.
