Should we be allowed to create AI

Artificial intelligence is taking the world by storm many people like it or hate

either way, Artificial intelligence is coming, and it will completely change all our

lives and the way we live in my opinion artificial is good for a limit because as artificial

intelligence is exposed to us, we will eventually get so comfortable with it that we will

become so dependent on it. That we will not know what is right or wrong and allow Artificial

intelligence to make that decision for us. Furthermore, many religious people have nothing

against AI if artificial intelligence does not take you away or mislead you from the religion.

My purpose in this paper is to explore the advantages and disadvantages of Artificial

intelligence.

There are many advantages of AI some of which are very useful to humans moreover,

they help humans to move into the future Furthermore, AI systems are better than humans at

all cognitive tasks, which could cause fewer mistakes to occur by humans. In addition, it is

easier to locate by emergency services making saving life easier, Likewise, AI can reduce a

lot of stress taken in by humans, along with many physical challenges.

Alongside this point, AI can also adapt, reason and provide solutions for real-life

problems we as humans encounter in our day-to-day lives. On the other hand, some people

might say that AI such as Alexa can control us humans and have the ability to overcome us

humans but in fact, AI is not always advanced there is a type of AI called weak AI or narrow

AI these are programmed to do certain tasks and nothing else for example if you teach a robot

to play Chinese checkers it will be able to be very good at it but if you ask it to play chess it

won’t be able to be mildly good at it same thing with Alexa. If you ask her to play a song, for

example, Alex play ABC she will listen to the keywords “ALEXA, PLAY and ABC” and she

will complete the request but if you ask her if there is a traffic jam to work, she won’t be able

to answer as she is not programmed to do so.

Moreover, humans need to allow Artificial intelligence into our lives since eventually,

it will take over in one way or another, many people have said that artificial intelligence will

take over even if we like it or not even if it is dangerous or not one way or another artificial

intelligence will find its way into our lives. In addition, it will also be in our jobs, and we

need to start to get a hand in using Artificial intelligence. Because as we progress into the

future jobs such as doctors, engineering, architects and so on will be replaced but robots and

AI will allow for many advantages for people who were caught up in their jobs all the time.

Just like advantages, there are many disadvantages. For example, artificial

intelligence is very costly to not only create but to also maintain, furthermore, artificial

intelligence has a chance of going wrong which has many effects not only on people but also

on society. Moreover, many people have said that AI is far more dangerous than “nukes”

quoted (Elon musk). In addition, AI has many mental and physical effects on people who use

it too much and for the wrong purpose.

In addition, Artificial intelligence can also be used to target and harm a person,

society or even a country because if a person or government get a hold of such advanced

technology it can cause mass destruction. Furthermore, "In the long term, artificial

intelligence and automation are going to be taking over so much of what gives humans a

Furthermore, Artificial intelligence is changing our daily life in a good way and in a

bad way because it is taking us away from things that give us purpose quoted previously

because humans that do the things that we like give us a reason for us to do so and if that is

taken away from us then what are we left with, nothing. There is nothing left for us to do if it

is all controlled and taken over but artificial intelligence. Moreover, as Artificial intelligence,

as it grows day by day its ability to grow its intelligence will grow day by day as well and

that will eventually get too much for humans to maintain and this can cause an irreversible

change caused by human creation.

I believe that yes artificial intelligence is a good thing and can help humans with all cognitive

tasks there Is a bad side to it as well just like with anything else, furthermore, AI is also being

exposed to the world day by day and nobody realizes it, and as it is exposed it is adapting to

the environment of social media and the way people use it and as it does so it also can

unmask content that is not liked in society or a person speaking of “person” AI can target a

specific person and can change anyone’s view about him or her without knowing the true side

or them or judging a book by its cover. Moreover, AI can also unveil things about a person,

community and even a country that they may not like. Just like when covid-19 hit it exploded

the internet with conspiracy theory’s accusations about China which cause millions of

people’s views about Chinese people to make them the bad guy which cause racism against

Chinese people to skyrocket. We might not understand what AI is doing to us but we should

not underestimate the power of AI. I am happy about the creation of AI but not at the moment

as there are so many global problems if AI is released I believe that it can cause much

destruction and it will only make matters worse for not only countries but the entire world

This means that if AI is fully developed it could like I said before cause mass destruction of

humans.

In conclusion, I feel that AI should not be created until major, and most world problems are

solved this is so that if AI is fully developed at this time there is nothing that countries mainly

hid and most of the world is helping one another because right not governments and countries

are not only hiding things from the rest of the world but also their people which is one of the

biggest problems. And if AI is unveiled at this time, it can cause many governments to fall

many leaders to fall and rise many cruel and unjust leaders who will use AI to revile

discriminating content of their enemy to put them as leaders which could trigger many wars

and relationships to break. And that is why I believe why we should not expose AI at this

time.
