1. Under NI License Activator options Generate a serial.

2. Install Circuit Design Suite 14 with your choosen options, you can always run
setup again from the installtion folder created, or you can just delete that folder
to save space.

4. Disable search for notifications, as of 7-1-2016 there were none, use VPN to be
on safe side as it collects IP's as noted.

5. Option to disable fast startup depends on your version of windows and your
preference, I recommend to leave enabled.

6. Generally it is recommended to disable search automatically for updates, you can

alway initiate update check if you choose.
In past versions updating did not deactivate the program, I do not have that
information for this version so backup before you do.

7. Before restarting go back to NI License Activator right click on button and it

should automatically open license location, if not they are in the hidden
Programdata folder under National Instruments.

8. Just click on the versions of Multisim and Ultiboard you want (default one is
best) click the plus button then right click the popout option icon and activate,
it's as simple as that.

9. Program will run without restarting but be aware the program sets a number of
services to start you may or may not need at all. The program will still run after
disabling all the startup services.
I recommend diasable all, if you find you do need a service running simple enable.
For those that wish to check them, under Windows start menu find the run option box
type in, msconfig , click services then choose hide all Microsoft Services, they
will all start with NI
Or in Windows control panel under Administrator tools, services, you can control
the services there and start and stop them as you choose.
