Work progress report- 15th Nov to 15th Dec 2022

After a brief introduction about the project and work that is assigned to individual
RA, the initial task was assigned. The very first task that was assigned was to find out
DSER reports available for all the concerned years. The Excel sheet was created in
the form of a checklist to ensure the availability of the data from 2017 to 2022
DSE reports for all 36 districts.

From the 16th Nov 2022 onwards the data entry began for 12 districts to each RA for
the brief district profile which was completed by 17th of Nov 2022. There were few
issues raised while entering the data which was solved in the consequent meetings and
the necessary corrections were made in the data sheet. Meanwhile, the task of
literature review with respect to individually assigned districts has started. Collection
of research papers and research articles were added in a collective sheet. 

The actual variables were identified during the time and final data entry started with
the respective districts. The source was used DSER 2020 Few issues were raised
about source of the data, unavailability, reference year, unit, etc were discussed in the
subsequent meeting and corrected frequently. New variables were added and some are
replaced from time to time. HDI reports of 2002 were reviewed from the view of its
methodology and important variables. A small note was presented based on this study.
During the time of 6-7 days, data entry of around 80 variables for 12 districts were
completed. 

As a part of report writing, a brief district profile writing has been started in the
second week of Dec 2022. Which includes an overview of the district's geographical,
socio-economic profile as an introduction. 

The upcoming assignment includes completion of the remaining part of report

writing, completion of data entry for years 2021, 2020, 2019, 2018, etc for
individually assigned districts for all variables.
