INTRODUCTION
The Cura Optima® Hospice & Palliative Care Center is dedicated
to providing residents with dignified care that promotes quality
of life, comfort, and convenience.
It incorporates a multidisciplinary team approach to medical
care, pain management, and emotional and spiritual support.
The resident’s needs, desires, comfort, dignity and quality of life
are the focus.
Our hospice and palliative care facility is specifically designed
and equipped with the needed accommodation facilities and
medical equipment to provide services which will give comfort
and security to all our residents irrespective of their religious
affiliations, race, and health conditions.
MAJOR OBJECTIVES
Our Vision: With support from our communities, we will provide
the absolute best care possible, and a wide array of support
services, delivered in the most compassionate, competent, and
cost-effective manner possible, to all who need it.

Our Mission: The mission of Cura Optima® Hospice & Palliative


Care Center is to provide the highest quality, home-based,
individualized, and compassionate care that empowers patients
and their families with programs and solutions that address
end-of-life challenges.

Our Goal: The primary goal of our hospice services is to provide


relief for the physical, emotional, and spiritual suffering of our
patients and those who care for them.
DESCRIPTION OF PRODUCTS
Professional Hospice & Palliative Services - We can provide rotating
daily care so that you or your loved one need not be transferred to a
hospital
Care Living 1 - P52,000 - Level 1 residents requiring a low level of
care
Care Living 2 - P72,000 - Level 2 residents needing a moderate
level of care, specifically a one-on-one assistance from
caregivers
Care Living 3 - P94,000 - Level 3 residents require an enhanced
assisted living as they require extensive hands-on assistance for
multiple ADLs.
MARKETING STRATEGY

The marketing and sales strategy adopted by Cura Optima®


Hospice & Palliative Care Center will be based on generating long-
term personalized relationships with our residents. In order to
achieve that, we will ensure that we offer all – round hospice and
palliative care at affordable prices compared to what is obtainable
in Zamboanga City and in the entire Mindanao.

Below are the sales projection for Cura Optima® Hospice &
Palliative Care Center, it is based on the location of our business
and the wide range of related services that we will be offering.

HISTORY OF THE BUSINESS

The Cura Optima® Hospice & Palliative Care Center will be


established by graduates of Western Mindanao State University
from the College of Nursing, Batch of Curis Fabulis. It began as a
dream of 4 student nurses namely, Noraliza K. Saling, Czarianne A.
Isnang, Nurzhaina J. Agil, and Ralph T. Dionio, to provide quality
end-of-life care to patients, as they were inspired by one of their
course subjects: Gerontology.
BACKGROUND OF THE PRODUCTS
Cura Optima® Hospice & Palliative Care Center is a service type of
business rather than marketing just medical products. We offer
end-of-life care within our residential facility to the older adults of
the City and its neighboring towns or municipalities. We will be
providing highly-specialized medical services and optimum care
braced with compassion at the end-of-life stage of our beloved
clients, comprises of a diverse but collaborative work of medical
professionals from different fields that focuses its services to a
team-oriented approach to highly advanced medical care, pain
management, spiritual and emotional support bespoke to our
client's holistic needs and wishes.
CAPITALIZATION OR SOURCE OF FUNDS
Cura Optima® Hospice & Palliative Care Center is a partnership
business owned and financed by Ms. Noraliza Saling, Ms. Czarianne
Isnang, Ms. Nurzhain Agil, and Mr. Dionio. They do not intend to
welcome any external business partners which is why they decided
to restrict the sourcing of the startup capital to 3 major sources:

The overall populations we wish to serve are elderly people who
need end-of-life care and professional medical support.
A growing number of people, especially on elderly, have
complex chronic pain conditions. Their pain trajectories are
highly unpredictable. As a result, primary and community
healthcare services face significant challenges.
Cura Optima® Hospice & Palliative Care Center focuses on the
care, comfort, and quality of life of a person with a serious illness
who is approaching the end of life in order to provide dignity to
the dying patient.
DESCRIPTION OF THE BUSINESS
Cura Optima® Hospice & Palliative Care Center is located at the
outskirts of Barangay Abong-Abong Zamboanga City, 7000,
Philippines.
It caters a service type of business that focuses on the holistic
care of our elderly, it is a place for geriatric clients who don't
need to be in hospital but is given optimal care and medical
management where it stands as a residential home for their
golden years.
High levels of care rendered by the group of medical
professionals especially nurses are its ultimate focus with the
staff having advanced levels of medical care and training.
DESCRIPTION OF THE PRODUCTS

The Cura Optima® Hospice & Palliative Care Center will be


providing specialized medical services and compassionate care at
the end-of-life, which involves a team-oriented approach to expert
medical care, pain management, and emotional and spiritual
support expressly tailored to the patient’s needs and wishes.
DESCRIPTION OF THE PRODUCTS

Specifically, the Center will be offering the following services:


Professional Hospice & Palliative Services - We can provide
rotating daily care so that you or your loved one need not be
transferred to a hospital
Spiritual and Emotional Support - Emotional and spiritual care
team made up of psychologists, clergy or spiritual practitioners.
Personal Hygiene and Body Care - We support the family with
patient care, including bathing and basic homemaker services.
DISCUSSION OF FINANICAL CONSIDERATIONS
The company will set its service price based on a legally acceptable
reasonable price to ensure that it is feasible for our clients and their
families. We will make a thorough breakdown of budgets used in
building our facility, the medical equipment house in the center,
the medical professionals hired, electricity and water, and other
staff that will cater to the needs of our clients and the maintenance
of the facility.
The company will see to it that the facility can sustain its operation
by ensuring that the revenues are greater than the expenditure so
that the facility will not cease to exist.

The budget for this business emphasizes the need of providing


high-quality care. As a result, Vital human resources are needed
such as Beds, Bedside Monitor, oxygen tanks, and assistive devices.
