SETTLEMENT CELL
Principle of Hose Levelling Instrument Type: SB 10
Art. No.: 27.01.01
The settlement cell SB 10 is operating according to the principle of the communicating tube. By a specially
constructed overflow in the settlement cell, a constant liquid level can be achieved with an accuracy of
± 2 mm. The cell can be used for distances up to 200 m.

For installation, the display and settlement cell have to be levelled
to an accurate position. The tubings must carefully be installed in +10

Measurement :
Open valve 3, let liquid flow into standpipe 4 with valve 3, approx. 0
100-200 mm over measured value. Close valve 2. As shown in
diagram opposite, the measured value is already reached after 30 - 5
