Science and Technology improve our lives through these three concluding ways – new

knowledge, new inventions, and solutions. Looking from the past, it was lack of knowledge of
many things that was the reason behind many difficulties, inconveniences, and tragedies. It was
new knowledge and discovery that contributed to the development and progress in all aspects of
society. Secondly, it was through new inventions that continuously and massively contribute in
building our society at large through making things effortless, raising our level of living, and
enabling us to be more productive while saving a lot of our resources such as time, money and
manpower. Lastly, but most importantly, is it finds solutions to the most difficult problems of our
society which can be in Health aspects, Standard of education, etc. A great example of this is the
invention of Robot Roving Doctor from Bulacan State University in response to Covid19
Pandemic. Just as a life of a man, our global condition goes through a journey of progress, and
Science and Technology is what fuels this progress until the whole globe reached its full and
complete capacity.

As students, we only have limited ways of promoting Science and technology in the
Philippines, surely we have no enough voice and power to meddle with the government and raise
our concern regarding the provision of enough resources and support. However, the best tool we
could use is the technology itself. By simply sharing latest inventions or achievements or
milestones, no matter how great or humble it may be, may inspire people and stir their interest,
especially those who are science enthusiasts but just lacks determination and inspiration. Also,
by simply using these inventions, such as suggesting e-bikes to our business-owner parents,
suggesting our local fertilizers to our farm-worker or farm-owner parents, using cosmetics that
are produced from our very own Filipino-chemists, and so forth.
