1. How did historical event change the direction of Science and Technology?

Those historical events changed the direction of Science and Technology because the world is
evolving. Science and Technology has completely changed the way human live, therefore, the
more human acquire knowledge the more they innovate or create things that is out of the world.
The colonization of Spaniard and Japanese contributes to the development of Science and
Technology, they forcefully adapt their cultures and traditions to the point is shaped us. If you
look back in the past, those events shaped our presents practices.

2. Did this changes help us to have a better world?

If changes means improvement then my answer is yes, because this changes makes our life
easier. The development of Science and Technology in our country has a great impact in every
individual. Creating some advance technologies such as machineries, engines, and smartphones
improves how we live. The world is evolving and so are technologies, knowledge is indefinite so
it's hard to predict what the future holds. Soon, someone will innovate something that might make
the world a better place to live or will be the sole reason why humanity is doomed.

3. As a citizen of the Philippines, what can you say about the development of Science and
Technology in our country?

In the Philippines, science and technology have been growing fast and steady, but there are
still some changes. Having a good progress in development of science and technology means the
country is progressing and evolving, however, we're becoming dependent on technologies and
artificial things that we forgot how to live manually. It's important to note that we should not be
dependent on it, everything is consumable and the time will come that the development stop and
shut down. Maybe the so called “artificial intelligence” might be the reason of the downfall of
mankind.

4. As a student, can you be able to contribute to the development of our society?

As a student, I'm still learning about life and my knowledge is limited, but I can contribute to
the development of my society by focusing on my education, learning new things, and being
curious. By acquiring knowledge and skills, I'll be prepared to solve problems and make positive
changes in the future. Additionally, preserving and keeping today's generation contributions can
shape the future.

Historical events such as colonization of the Spanish and Japanese affected how science and
technology evolve and advanced. Spanish and Japanese occupation makes us adapt their culture
and tradition that we use up until this day. These events influenced global exchanges and shaped
how science and technology progressed worldwide. Those events shaped history and the way
human live.

2. Did this changes help us to have a better world?

The changes from these events had both good and bad impacts. Sharing knowledge helped
improve science and technology, making life better for some. However, it also led to conflicts and
difficulties for others. People experienced both positive and negative outcomes, so whether the
world got better depends on different perspective. Overall, it depends on us whether we embraced
those changes for a better tomorrow or use it for some terrible reasons.

3. As a citizen of the Philippines, what can you say about the development of science and
technology in our country?

Science and technology in the Philippines are getting better. The government and
schools are working together for more research and innovation. This helps in improving different
areas. Some challenges, like not having enough resources, are still there. The Philippines has
smart people in science and technology, but more needs to be done to improve education and
skills. In addition, progress is happening, but we need to keep working together for more
advancements.

4. As a student, can you be able to contribute to the development of our society? And how?

As a student, I can help society by caring for the environment, volunteering and
promoting fairness. Being aware of my actions and using resources wisely is one way. I can also
be part of clubs or teams that focus on making our community better. Treating everyone fairly and
standing up for what's right is important too. If there's a problem within my community, I'll think
of a solution to solve problems or make things better, by sharing them and working on projects
can have a positive impact. Even small actions can add up to make our society a better place.
