It is Rs 13, 900 per annum . During admission there

will be additional fees of approximately Rs 3000 to
Rs 5000 for misc and admin expenses. Books, Coat,
instruments, Note books, Record books will cost Rs
35000 maximum for the first year.

Hostel deposit, Hostel fees and food charges are

extra and it will vary across the colleges. Indicative
charges are - Rs 20000 to Rs 25000 as refundable
deposit (some colleges don’t charge this) , annual
fees of Hostel at the range Rs 3000 to Rs 5000 per
annum and mess charges of about Rs 3500 to Rs
5000 per month.

And other charges as applicable.

In the medical studies, the demand for govt colleges
is because of the infrastructure and the patient
exposure that the student gets. Any govt hospital
will give better exposure to the students in terms of
patients and the diseases handled. The reason for
the demand for the govt colleges is because of this.
So there is no worst govt college as such.

Personally I would prefer rating in the following way

:

Tier 1 Medical Colleges - Colleges which are

established for more than 10 to 15 years, have good
infrastructure and faculty and are popular among
the students.

count is higher here and there fees is lesser.

Rs. 10600 only. As far as Government Quota in
private medical colleges are concerned, it will vary
from 5L to 7L per year, based on a college. For a
